I understand and acknowledge that with this entry, I will sail entirely at my own risk, that the onus whether to start the cruise, or any part thereof, and continue the cruise, lies entirely with the skipper, and that none of the organisations or persons concerned in the running of the cruise, accept any liability for damage or injury, material or personal, incurred during the cruise or any other time, however arising.

By checking this box, we, the owner(s), skipper(s), and crew member(s), consent that all individuals listed will be joining the New Year’s Eve event at POYC, at an additional cost of R180 per person.

Acceptance of Risk and Indemnity

I/we, the undersigned in our capacities as skipper and owner of the undersigned yacht freely accept and expressly assume all risk, danger and hazards that may arise from the participation of the above named yacht in the 2024 West Coast Cruise, which could result in personal injury, loss of life and damage or loss to property and to the yacht itself. I hereby undertake to waive, release and indemnify Port Owen Yacht Club, Saldanha Bay Yacht Club and the Port Owen Marina Authority against any and all claims, however arising, and specifically, but not limited to the involvement of the above named yacht in the 2024 West Coast Cruise, the use of all facilities, moorings and other equipment provided by Port Owen Yacht Club, Saldanha Bay Yacht Club and the Port Owen Marina Authority, for any loss or damage resulting from bodily injury, loss of life or loss or damage to the yacht or property. The onus of whether to start a leg of the cruise, or to continue with the cruise lies entirely with the skipper of the yacht.
